Evil Desire - Episode 1

Lyla rushed from the shower to answer the phone. It was Sunday morning and she was expecting a call from Walter. She finished wrapping the sheet towel around her petite body as she answered.

“I’d like to speak with Lyla Maas, please,” a soft spoken female voice said.

“Speaking.”

“Hi, my name is Myrna Loy. You don’t know me but we have a mutual friend, Walter Pierce, which I would like to discuss with you. I’m neither a covert wife nor an obsessed lover. However, I have some information that I believe you will find beneficial.”

“And how is that you have this information?”

“Due to an incident in the past, I had some detective work done that revealed some disturbing findings. It’s important that you get this information now. You might want to break the cycle or consider it in regards to your relationship with Walter.”

“Cycle? What do you mean?” Lyla asked. What was this all about? Was this Walter’s past coming back to haunt her?
